Step On Stage Productions presents this brand new play by Ayub Khan Din (East is East) as part of The National Theatre Connections festival of new writing for young people. The company of young actors aged 13 to 21 will perform at the Hampton Hill Playhouse on February 16th prior to performing at the Bush Theatre in April.
Germany, 1943. The Second World War rages into its fourth year, and the German population live in silence and fear as they blindly follow Hi**er's extreme policies. Yet in the shadows, there are whispers. young voices join together to say that enough is enough. The true story of a group of teenagers with extraordinary courage in the face of immense danger, who rose up against the N***s and their vision, this debut play bring these heroes lives to a new light.
