Every little bit helps!

Many of the children, grandparents, seniors and families we serve are already struggling due to the high cost of food. Children cannot learn without fuel for their brain! As a Troy community, we can make sure that no vulnerable person goes hungry - one can of food at a time. We are collecting food items to be distributed quickly and regularly to the families we serve. Please contact the Center or drop off items any time if you or your neighbors, coworkers, church or group want to partner with us to get food onto the tables of our kids and neighbors.

Did you know? In 2009, Sonia Sotomayor broke boundaries by becoming the first Latina, and the third woman, to serve on the Supreme Court of the United States, the highest court in the country. Sotomayor was born in New York City to Puerto Rican parents. She grew up in the Bronxdale-Houses, a public housing project in the Bronx. Through perseverance and determination, she received degrees from Princeton University and Yale Law School. As a Supreme Court Justice she has ruled to uphold the Affordable Care Act and legalize same-sex marriage.
