We had an Inov8 lightweight waterproof coat handed in on Thursday evening from out on the course. It looked as if it had fallen out or someone’s bag. If it’s yours let us know the colour of it and we can get it back to you!

Views from the course! All marked and flagged. It’s looking to stay dry but hopefully the temperature will drop a little before tonight. Registration opens at 18.00 in Chinley Bar and Lounge. Race starts at 19.30 from the playing fields behind the pub. Please try to avoid parking on the race route and there is no parking at registration. There’s still time to enter! Online entries open until 19.15. bigstonefellrace.org Cash entries are also available tonight.

Have ewe entered? Gingerbread sheep for each finisher and edible medals for overall top 3 and ten year age cat men and women! Race sets off at 19.30 from the playing fields behind the new community centre. Registration is from 18.00 at Chinley Bar & Lounge.
Entries are open online up until 15 mins before the race starts but the price increases by £2 after midnight tonight so enter early if you can! Cash entries are also available on the day at a price of £8.50

The course is all marked and ready and the weather is looking better than the past two year’s races 🤞

FINAL DETAILS: (Check emails for race info sent out yesterday)
➡️Registration from 6pm in Chinley Bar and Lounge SK23 6BE
➡️Parking at St Mary’s Church and Chinley Station Car park or on roads in appropriate spaces. Please try and avoid parking on the race route.
➡️Race sets of at 7.30pm
➡️Prize giving to follow shortly after the race in Chinley Bar and Lounge with post race drinks!
➡️Entry on night £7 cash only
➡️Keeps flags on the LEFT
➡️ Follow YELLOW on the way up and GREEN on the way down.
➡️ Keep to the pavements on the road sections where possible.
