That’s a wrap on the Holy Cross Festival, 2023. What a truly wonderful event yesterday was for young and old. Spectacular weather, beaming smiles, energetic performances, joyous families, delicious food and even a cold drink or two. To all the current students and families who donated items, or worked on a stall, or moved furniture, or delivered cold rooms, or who came along and enjoyed the day we sincerely thank you for all your support. We are a small school but one with a big heart, a heart that will continue to beat proudly and welcome all with open arms.

The Holy Cross community spirit is one that spans generations and connects us all, through our experiences of this wonderful school. Yesterday at the Festival many past pupils, past parents, past teachers and past friends joined together for impromptu reunions or planned catch ups to celebrate and fondly reminisce on those great times. We thank you all so very much for returning to the school. Please know that you are always welcome. We hope everyone had an amazing time reconnecting, sharing laughs and enjoying a drink or two. SPOTLIGHT ON - PLANTS!! ‘I have too many plants!’ said no one ever!  We are not exaggerating when we say this plant stall is phenomenal! We are so grateful to all our community planters and the Plant Stall Convenor. Come and find them at the Festival on the school oval.

Community Reminder: Bake stall drop off is today between 3-4pm in the Holy Cross School multipurpose room. Natalie our wonderful bake stall convenor will be there to collect your items. There is also packaging there if you need it.

Baby animals are always a popular attraction at the Holy Cross Festival - check out these cuties! Siblings, Iggy and Arabella are current year 2 and year 1 students at Holy Cross School. Thanks to .elc for sponsoring the petting zoo at the festival.

Another new addition to the Festival this year is our wonderful Kids Craft Stall. You can paint a plaster paint and decorate it all at the one stall - why not do two or three? 🖌️❤️🎉🎨

Making their Holy Cross Festival debut, HC Signature Bears! A great idea for SYP and Yr 4 students who want to remember their year level as it’s a special milestone (graduating or finishing at Holy Cross School in 2023). On sale in the craft stall, next the cake stall in the multipurpose room for $15 each, limited edition as there are only 50 Bears!
