Here’s how we would spend two days in Homer during the off-season.
Day 1 — Settle in and walk everywhere
➡️Check in at Driftwood Dreams and drop your bags.
➡️Take a walk along Bishop's Beach. Check the tide chart; low tide is when tidepooling is best.
➡️Dinner at The Kannery - just a 10 minute walk from Driftwood Dreams.
Day 2 — The Spit and the view
➡️Walk to Wild Honey Bistro for breakfast.
➡️Drive to the Homer Spit. Walk along the beach and down to the harbor - enjoy the lack of crowds.
➡️Take an easy 1.3 mile hike at Calvin and Coyle Trail or wander through the Eveline State Recreation Trails if you want more of a view.
➡️Back to Bishop’s Beach for sunset
➡️Pick up pizza at Fat Olives and enjoy a night in.
