We've had quite a few Thursday Arrivals..... Nancy is distributing the shirts and goodie bags a little early to those arriving early. Please return to the registration desk TOMORROW AM to sign-in and get raffle tickets if you already have your goodie bag.

There will be quite a few additional arrivals tomorrow and we can't wait to see them and renew our friendships!!!

Although we had a few showers earlier today. Most were able to get out on a ride and enjoy the mountains.

There was an accident on the Dragon where NO VYR PEOPLE WERE INVOLVED OR HURT IN ANY WAY!! However, a VYR group of riders arrived shortly after the accident and helped direct traffic, slowing down traffic on both sides, assisting the injured rider and the Tennessee State Police Officer. We're hopeful the injured rider recovers quickly. The State Patrol Officer thanked the VYR Team for all the help provided with traffic!!!

The weather guessers are DOUBLING DOWN on a prediction of BEAUTIFUL RIDING DAYS ALL WEEKEND!!! However, we hope everyone packet the Long Johns as early morning temps are predicted to be in the 40's!!!

Looking forward to a great time.... Photos will be posted each night for those who could not attend to enjoy....

Pack the Long Johns....
Rally attendees, make sure to pack the long Johns and the liners for your riding jackets.
Temps are expected to be quite low on the weekend mornings....

Today, we've experienced a good bit of rain in the afternoon. According to the "weather guessers" tomorrow (Thursday) is a 50/50 chance of rain in this region.

However, these same weather guessers (several) are predicting beautiful days on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. BUT, it's gonna be chilly in those mornings!!!!! Be prepared for cool temps!! We all know the higher elevations like the Cherohola Skyway, can be significantly colder!!!

PACK THE LONG JOHNS AND SOME SWEATSHIRTS!!!!

Hi VYR Friends,
Nancy & I arrived today to find a few of our friends are already checked in. They're out riding and enjoying the beautiful area. We're kinda pooped from the ~250 mile ride from south of Atlanta. Hopefully, we get to ride with them tomorrow. We are aware that others are planning to arrive tomorrow as well.

RE: A FEW UNUSUAL COLOR SHIRTS.....
The printer provided us free-of charge a handful of unusual color shirts he had as extras from previous jobs. We have distributed these to several of the regular attendees within their "Goodie Bags" (with the shirts they ordered and paid for).

Each year, there are a handful of new attendees and we are hopeful that those wearing an unusual shirt would be willing to provide answers to questions, driving directions, and perform as goodwill ambassadors of our group welcoming new (and old) faces. Nancy will mention this to anyone new at registration.

Unfortunately, we only had a few of these unusual color shirts also in a limited sizes. We apologize if you do not receive one. We will keep track and select different "Ambassadors" next year.

Sincerely,
VYR Team

The 2026 Vintage Yamaha Rally T-Shirts Have Arrived!

Hi Vintage Yamaha Rally Attendees and Friends,

The 2026 Vintage Yamaha Rally T-Shirts have arrived, and we are very pleased with how they turned out! Our screen printer did a fantastic job, and we think this is one of the best-looking shirts we have produced for the Annual Vintage Yamaha Rally.

Please take a look at the photos!

And, as always, there is plenty of work happening behind the scenes that makes the rally come together. Nancy is once again hard at work sorting, organizing, and preparing all of the shirts for distribution. It may not be the most visible part of the rally, but it is an important job—and one that we truly appreciate her taking on year after year.

Shirt distribution will take place Friday morning at the rally. However, many of us arrive at Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge several days early. If you are arriving before Friday, Nancy will be happy to get your shirt and goodie bag to you early.

A Few Extra Shirts Available

We normally do not purchase extra shirts because the rally operates with very limited funds. This year, however, ordering a few additional shirts allowed us to reach the next quantity price break.

So, if you missed the September 1 pre-order deadline, you may still have an opportunity to purchase one of the very limited number of extras from Nancy. They will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the same price paid by those who pre-ordered.

For Those Unable to Attend

We also received the completed shirts a few days earlier than normal this year. Nancy will make every effort to get the shirts in the mail to those who pre-paid for shipping but are unable to attend the rally.

She will work to get these to the USPS as quickly as possible before the rally. If that is not possible due to the timing, they will be mailed promptly following the rally.

We hope you enjoy this year's shirt as much as we do!

Most importantly, we are getting very close to the 25th Annual Vintage Yamaha Rally, and we are excited to see everyone again. We look forward to catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, and enjoying some great riding on the beautiful roads of the North Carolina mountains.

See you at Iron Horse!

Shirt clock is ticking away....SHIRT DEADLINE REMAINS 9/1

🏁 THE SHIRT CLOCK IS TICKING! 🏁

SHIRT ORDER DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 1

The countdown is on! If you haven’t ordered your 25th Annual Vintage Yamaha Rally shirt, the deadline is quickly approaching. September 1 is the deadline! 👕⏰

And while we’re counting down to the Rally, the Yama-Goodies are starting to arrive! 🎉

Nancy has been reaching out to many of our commercial friends and supporters, asking for small donations to help make our 25th Annual Event extra special. Some have been able to contribute this year, while others unfortunately aren’t able to—and we completely understand.

We’re very grateful to those who have continued to support our Rally!

🏍️ Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corp.

Yamaha has come through again with a great selection of goodies for our group, including:

• T-Shirts
• Fancy Tumblers
• A VERY nice—and VERY expensive—Backpack! 🎒
• And several other miscellaneous items that will be perfect additions to our registration goodie bags.

🛠️ Summit Racing

Summit Racing has also continued its tradition of providing goodies for our Rally. This year’s contribution includes a very nice Tool Bag along with several other giveaway items.

✨ NEW THIS YEAR — Griot’s Garage

We’re excited to welcome Griot’s Garage to our list of supporters this year!

They have provided a $50 Gift Certificate that can be used toward some of their excellent polishes, waxes, and other vehicle-care products. If you like keeping your Yamaha—or any other vehicle—looking its best, you know Griot’s makes some great stuff!

THANK YOU to all of our supporters for helping make this event possible! 🙌

It’s starting to come together, and we’re getting more excited every day!

🏍️ 25 YEARS OF THE VINTAGE YAMAHA RALLY! 🏍️

We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone again at the 25th Annual Vintage Yamaha Rally at:

📍 Iron Horse Lodge
Stecoah, North Carolina

It’s going to be a great weekend with great people, great motorcycles, and plenty of Yama-Goodies!

DON’T FORGET — SHIRT ORDERS MUST BE IN BY SEPTEMBER 1! 👕🏍️

🏍️ 25th ANNUAL VINTAGE YAMAHA RALLY 🏍️

👕 ONE WEEK LEFT TO ORDER YOUR RALLY SHIRT!

The clock is ticking! Shirt orders must be received by SEPTEMBER 1st.

This year’s shirt is extra special as we celebrate 25 YEARS of the Vintage Yamaha Rally! 🎉 The three-color design on the back was created especially for this milestone event, and we think it’s going to be one you’ll want to have in your collection.

IMPORTANT: Shirts are PRE-ORDER ONLY. We will not have extra shirts available for purchase at the Rally, so if you want one, you need to order now!

If you’ve already placed your order through PayPal, THANK YOU! ❤️ Nancy will have your shirt waiting for you at IronHorse on Friday, along with a little goodie bag.

If you’ve been procrastinating, it’s time to get off that Vintage Yamaha for a few minutes and place your order! 😎

Our screen printer needs the final quantity by September 2nd, so we have to stick firmly to the September 1st deadline.

🏕️ HAVE YOU MADE YOUR RALLY PLANS YET?

We are getting VERY excited about seeing everyone again at the end of next month! It’s hard to believe we’re getting ready to celebrate 25 years of Vintage Yamaha Rally tradition.

There is still time to make arrangements at IronHorse Motorcycle Lodge. Camping availability should still be pretty good, although rooms are becoming very limited.

Other nearby options include SanRan in Robbinsville and hotels in Bryson City. They may be a little less convenient, but we'd much rather have you nearby than miss having you with us for the 25th Annual Rally!

We can't wait to see old friends, make some new ones, talk Yamahas, ride some great roads, and celebrate 25 YEARS together! ❤️🏍️
