Pretty much sums it all up, the excitement, the huge waves, the marlin, the highs, the lows, and the relief on reaching dry land 😃

Yesterday the guys had an AIS alarm go off in their cabin - it's gone off a lot on this trip as various ships have hurled themselves at the pair, however this alarm brought with it good news! 😯

It was Jamie! 🙌

The guys met Jamie Howard from Atlanticrowmad - TWAC 2023 Solo Row when they were doing their mandatory training courses in Burnham together and have kept in close contact since. 📱

They knew that he has had a difficult time of it over the past couple of days so the guys thought that it may come as a boost in morale for both teams to make contact. 📞

Whilst he was tired and a little traumatised by the double marlin strike he had experienced, he genuinely seemed pleased and a little taken aback to be contacted and reassured that David and Garry were very close by and possibly would be for a good portion of the race. ❤️

Garry mentioned: "It is genuinely flabbergasting to think that we have travelled 1750 miles across an expansive ocean and have come within 800 metres of one of our closest rowing friends. Good luck to Jamie for the remainder of the race, an inspiration and a true gentleman."

Throughout the campaign, David and Garry are raising money and awareness for the Great North Air Ambulance Service which is 100% reliant upon donations. Please support today by sending a generous donation to the charity at the following link: https://www.justgiving.com/page/david-ferrier-garry-hoyle-3000mile-atlantic-row-seas-the-moments 🌐
