2023 EDITION CANCELLED

We hope this finds you well, friends. The purpose of this email is to inform you the 2023 edition of the Oregon Hop Run has been canceled. But the aim is to have this event back in 2024. Thank you very much to everyone who has supported this event over the years and supporting the work of the Ella Curran Food Bank.

If you have already registered, we will be working to issue you a refund. There is also the option to have 100% of the registration fee go straight to the Ella Curran Food Bank, and you will receive a 50% off code for next year's event.

It's always fun to see who gets bib #1 Good luck, Kandace!

We do it red-carpet here (if you registered as of last Friday) with a custom bib with your name on it.

But you can still get yourself a bib and a spot on the starting line if you register online today by 4:00 p.m.! Link in the bio.

Packet pick-up today from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Brew Coffee & Tap House in Downtown Independence. Packet pick-up will also be available tomorrow from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Riverview Park. (50 C St, 97351)

Shirts will also be available at the park for $20. Big shout out to our sponsors in the back for helping make our run possible!

Who's lacing up on Saturday, September 17?! A 5k, 10k, and a free kids 1/2 mile dash. An event that celebrates our local hop heritage and supports the vital work of the Ella Curran Food Bank.

Join us Saturday, Sept 17 at Riverview Park for year #4! An event to celebrate the local hop heritage and support the work of the Ella Curran Food Bank. Then stay after to enjoy the block party by IDA. And if you want to make a weekend of it, switch out your running shoes for your bike and join in for the 2nd edition of the Hop Head Hundred!

Today Monmouth-Independence Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center's Nicki Marazzani and City of Independence’s Ramon Martinez were able to present a check of funds raised from this year’s Oregon Hop Run to the Ella Curran Food Bank team. A great deal of appreciation for the generosity from Salem Health, Ardor Adventures, and Musical Independence for supporting the effort.

Thank you to all the volunteers, participants, and many supporters from the community for helping make the 3rd edition of the Oregon Hop Run possible. We hope to see you next year! Stay tuned, as the event date will be announced soon.
