Our June 5th event has opened up, and we’re officially looking to bring something new and fun to the space 👀 If you’ve been wanting to host an event, workshop, pop-up, or unique experience...this is your chance.

If you have any ideas or would like to host an event on First Fridays that fits the theme of the month, we would love to have you!

Looking ahead, we’re gearing up for a First Friday Food Fest on August 7th 🍴
We’re currently on the hunt for:

• Bakers
• Drink vendors

It’s no coincidence that it’s May First Fridays Ypsilanti and Amanda May Moore is our first featured artist! She has created these beautiful risograph prints that work delightfully with our Ypsi in Bloom theme.

You can pick one up for yourself for $10 at both Dzanc House and the First Fridays Ypsilanti booth at Michigan Ave and Washington!

First Fridays Ypsilanti is partnering with Dzanc House to get to know the versatile and economical process of risograph printing. We look forward to featuring even more local artists’ work!

🌼Be sure to stop by Putt-R-Round on May’s First Friday! They’re handing out FREE packets of wildflower and native plant seeds, specifically formulated for our south east Michigan region!

🌿They’ve worked with Michigan Wildflower Farms to make sure YOU can sow a beautiful wildlife habitat, everywhere you go! Maybe you’ll get inspired to order your own meadow in a bag, with their Tried and True blend!

🌸No purchase necessary for the plant seeds, but have fun playing mini golf, spinning the bonus prize wheel and putting to win the Puttski mini golf skeeball competition!

🌱Putt-R-Round’s NEW location is at 130 W. Michigan Ave at the corner of Washington, kitty corner from the Tap Room!

Every First Friday, Typsi Ypsi hosts a creative evening from 6-9 PM, offering a variety of DIY painting options.
Visitors can choose from small canvas paintings for $10, glass items like wine glasses and mugs for $15, wooden cut-outs for $15, or pre-sketched 16x20 canvases for $20.

Typsi Ypsi also runs a karaoke session alongside the painting, and those who prefer not to paint are welcome to join in the karaoke or simply hang out for free.
While these DIY events do not include step-by-step instruction, Tiypsi Ypsi's artists are available to assist participants in bringing their artistic visions to life. It's important to note that this is a specialty event, and standard coupons, Groupons, and other promotional discounts do not apply.
