푸른 교회의 비전과 사명은 예수 그리스도의 복음을 모든 사람에게 전하고, 믿는 자들이 풍성한 삶을 살 수 있도록 돕는 것입니다(요한복음10:10) The vision and mission of Evergreen Church is to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and help believers to live in abundant life (John 10:10) 자세히 들여다 본 푸른 교회 A closer look at Evergreen Church 푸른 교회는 예수님의 삶을 모델로 세워진 교회입니다. 2008년 8월 3일 이지균 목사와 세 가정이EMANUEL LUTHERAN CHUCH에서 첫 예배를 드리고, 2009년 3월 1일에 창립 예배를 드렸습니다. 미남침례회에 소속된 푸른 교회는 기존 교회의 틀에 (전통,조직, 프로 그램, 건물, 권위주의) 묶이지 않으려고 합니다. “내 교회를 세우리라”(마16:16)는 주님의 말씀에 단순히 순종하고, 살아있는 교회 즉 움직이는 그리스도의 몸으로 존재하기 원합니다. 예수님 삶을 본 받아 안식일 날은 (주일) 하나님을 예배하고, 주 중에는 각 자의 삶의 터전에서 교회의 역할을 합니다. 예수님의 몸, 볼 수 있는 만질 수 있는 유기체 (성육신) 교회를 지향합니다. Evergreen Church is modeled after the life of Jesus. In August 3rd of 2008, Pastor Simon Lee and three families had the first service at Emanuel Lutheran Church. The church’s dedication service was on March 1, 2009. Affiliated with Southern Baptist Convention, Evergreen Church tried not to fall too much into the frame (tradition, organization, program, and building) of existing churches. We simply obeyed the Lord’s word, “I will build my church” (Mt.16:16) and continues to exist as an alive body, a church that is moving. Like the life of Jesus, we worship God on the Sabbath (Sunday), during week days we go to the places where we live and fill the needs of others by becoming the body of Jesus which can be seen and touched. This is Evergreen’s dream.
