A huge THANK YOU to Columbia-Middletown Elks #1074 for proudly supporting the Wrightsville 4th of July Celebration! 🎆

Organizations like Elks Lodge #1074 help make it possible for our community to come together each year to celebrate America, family, tradition, and hometown pride along the Susquehanna River.

The Elks have a long-standing tradition of giving back through charitable work, veteran support, youth programs, and strengthening local communities — and we are incredibly grateful for their partnership and support of this year’s celebration as we honor America’s 250th Birthday! 🇺🇸

A lot of people assume the city / borough pays for the fireworks and event expenses — but that’s actually not the case. Events like this are only possible because of generous sponsors, local businesses, organizations, and community donations.

LIGHT UP WRIGHTSVILLE! 🇺🇸✨- Think your home or business has the best patriotic spirit in town? Now’s your chance to prove it!

The Wrightsville Merchants’ Association is proud to launch the “Light Up the Town” Decorating Contest in celebration of America’s 250th Birthday! We’re inviting residents and businesses throughout Wrightsville to decorate their homes, storefronts, porches, and properties in red, white, and blue for a town-wide patriotic celebration.

🚨 IMPORTANT: You MUST register your home or business to be officially considered and judged in the contest.

🎇 Contest Dates: June 14th – July 4th
🏆 Judging During the Week of July 4th
🎤 Winners Announced at the Fireworks Celebration

✨ On June 14th we will officially kick off the celebration leading up to America’s 250th Birthday. However, judging will NOT take place until the week of July 4th — so don’t feel pressured to have your display completed in June. Take your time, get creative, and help us make Wrightsville shine brighter than ever this Independence Day season!

✨ Use lights, flags, inflatables, banners, patriotic displays, and more! Whether you keep it simple or go all out, every entry helps showcase community pride and patriotic spirit throughout town.
