shrimpfestsc has officially canceled for this weekend. As unfortunate as it is, safety should always take top priority. I won’t be at Art in the Park either, out of an abundance of caution, but I hear there are some brave artists out there so if you’re in the area stop by and show them some support.

Excited for next weekend! North Carolina Oyster Festival in my hometown of OIB! Alex is heading to Autumn with Topsail Festival.

Unfortunately this was the right call to make. If the wind is over 25 mph I don’t setup. Not looking good for my other events this weekend but I will make a final decision on Friday. Pray for the weather to change!

The Town of Swansboro has announced the cancellation of the 2025 Mullet Festival, originally scheduled for October 10–12 🗓️, due to the impending coastal storm ☔️and hazardous ⚠️ weather conditions forecasted for our area.

NOAA National Weather Service, significant coastal impacts are expected throughout the weekend, including strong winds💨 , flooding, and heavy rainfall🌧️ .
These conditions pose serious risks to public safety and make it impossible to proceed with the event as planned.
