🍅 THAT'S A WRAP ON CRANBERRY TOURS WITH CURRENT! 🍅

Last week was a pretty good reminder that professional networking doesn't have to happen in a conference room.

We got outside, explored a cranberry marsh, learned a little more about one of Central Wisconsin's most iconic crops, enjoyed some food and drinks, and most importantly, spent time getting to know other young professionals in our community.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the night one to remember!

And a huge thank you to Rooted In Red and Chatrbox Catering for helping us make it happen!

So you think you know cranberries? Do you even know these facts??

**FACT #1:** Wisconsin is the #1 cranberry-producing state in the country.

**FACT #2:** Wisconsin produced approximately 4.8 MILLION barrels of cranberries in 2025.

**FACT #3:** Wisconsin's 2025 crop represented more than 60% of the nation's cranberry production.

**FACT #4:** Cranberries are grown in specially prepared beds—not naturally occurring lakes or ponds.

**FACT #5:** The cranberry harvest is one of the coolest agricultural processes you'll see in Central Wisconsin.

You can drive past a cranberry marsh and think:

“Yeah- that's normal.”

Meanwhile, someone from out of town is wondering why Wisconsin has giant fields that look like they're ready to become a swimming pool.

But here's the thing- **How much do you actually know about cranberries?**

-Do you know why marshes get flooded?

-Do you know when the harvest happens?
