Our mission is to create a memorable, but fiscally responsible, event that showcases the heart of Winterset by providing RAGBRAI visitors with a taste of our small-town magic.

Happy New Years! We are so thankful for everyone's help and support working on Winterset RAGBRAI 2024 this year. We hope this effort was a shining example of what Winterset is capable of doing for RAGBRAI riders as well as our community.

We're going dark on this page for a while (a long while... till the next time). Our website will be closing later this month, but if you have any questions you can email us at [email protected]. If there happens to be any additional info to share, it will be posted here. Hope everyone has a great 2025!!!

Congrats to the Winterset Parks and Recreation for receiving a check for $3,690. They will be using the funds to assist with the purchase of three bike repair stations located around Winterset!

Congrats to Winterset Disc Golf on receiving a check for $3,500. They will be using the money to help install concrete pads and signage at the disc golf course located at the Madison County Historical Complex!

Congrats to the Winterset Police Department for receiving a check for $990. They will be using the funds for purchasing a branded tent and table to increase safety and visibility at events, and protect officers from inclement weather!

Congrats to Madison County Historic Preservation Commission on receiving a $3,000. They will be using the funds to restore the Soldiers Monument carvings at Monumental Park!

Merry Christmas! Santa would definitely ride through Winterset on RAGBRAI... If he had time. Winterset Ragbrai 2024 still has a few gifts to hand out. More check photos coming!

Congrats to The Iowa on receiving a check for $5,000. This money will go towards helping repair the theater’s marquee roping!

Congrats to the Winterset Public Library on receiving a check for $5,000. This money will go towards the purchase of an ADA-compliant work/study pod!

Congrats to Winterset Community Education Foundation on receiving a check for $12,500. This funding will support student scholarships, field trips and other curricular enhancements!
