The only College Board APSI in a National Park! Schoodic Institute at Acadia National Park invites advanced placement teachers to retreat to scenic and serene Schoodic Point on the rocky coast of Maine for instruction and certification this summer. Three separate weeks of courses will take place in summer 2022. WELCOME JORDAN! Schoodic Institute is delighted to announce that Jordan Crosby has been hired as the director of food services. Jordan brings a lot of experience in food services and his connections in this area are excellent. Previously, Crosby was kitchen manager at Mountain View School in Sullivan, cooked at Ironbound in Sullivan and Martha’s Diner in Ellsworth and co-owned and operated Downeast Cheesecakes. Most recently he was bistro manager at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel in Bar Harbor. Jordan is eager to bring the food services at Schoodic Institute to a whole new level and look forward to working with local suppliers to incorporate locally sourced ingredients into the meals we served.
