Jim Coots, Susan Corrigan, and Ginny Grant recently sat down with Lauren Clouse, the CEO of the Wi******er Rescue Mission, for a special Conversations on a Bench event. During their conversation, they shared their personal reasons for joining Kiwanis, discussed the mission of Kiwanis International, and highlighted the club’s commitment to serving children and strengthening the local community.
An important part of the discussion was the Kiwanis Club of Wi******er’s support for the Rescue Mission and its work helping individuals in need throughout our community. Service is at the heart of Kiwanis, and supporting organizations like the Rescue Mission is one way our members put that commitment into action.
As part of the event, a $500 donation was presented to Lauren on behalf of the Kiwanis Club of Wi******er to help support the Rescue Mission’s important work.
The conversation was a wonderful opportunity to share what Kiwanis means to its members and to recognize the difference that community partnerships can make. Through service, generosity, and collaboration, Kiwanis continues to live out its mission of making the world a better place, one community at a time.
