Ten years ago, something remarkable happened. More than 500 of Matt’s friends came together for a night filled with laughter, friendship, and love — a simple gathering that became so much more. It was a powerful reminder that Matt and his family were not alone in his pancreatic cancer journey.

Now, on March 14, 2026, we come together once again.

In Matt’s memory, this event will support Project Purple, helping fund pancreatic cancer research, awareness, and early detection — while offering hope to families facing this disease today. Though time has passed, Matt’s spirit lives on through the people who loved him most. Together, we continue his legacy until one day we live in a world without pancreatic cancer. 💜

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country. Their courage and sacrifice protect the freedoms we cherish.

We want to give a special thank-you to MISSION BBQ (Kirkwood Highway, DE), whose dedication to honoring veterans means so much. This year, they invited all veterans to enjoy a free sandwich — and deeply touched our family by adding Matt Janicki's photo to their Wall of Honor. 💜🇺🇸

We’re also incredibly grateful for their generous raffle basket donation at our golf tournament, which was a huge hit. Their support for our mission and our community is truly appreciated.
