Opening night of the 78th Annual Men’s Fastpitch Softball Tournament is set to be one of the most exciting in recent history. On Friday, July 3, NMAAC will join the City of Newton for the Rockets & Rails celebration at Athletic Park as part of our nation’s 250th birthday festivities.

Fans can enjoy an evening of NMAACs Opening Ceremonies, then walk over to Fisher field to enjoy live music, food and family activities, all leading up to a spectacular fireworks show to end the night. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate community, tradition, and Independence Day all in one place.
