Traverse County Fair The Traverse County fair that takes place in Wheaton will be August 27-30, 2026. Since 1907.

A celebration for those near and far that showcases all that the county has to offer. Plenty of things to do and see for young and old such as children's activities, entertainment, food and merchandise vendors, livestock and agriculture competitions, midway rides and much, much more. Additional Features:
Commercial Vendors, Designated Parking, Entertainment Children's, Entertainment Free, Food, Handicapped Access, Midway Rides, Music, Misc....etc

- we've been quiet for a while on facebook, but have been working hard behind the scenes to get a fun and entertaining fair together for 2026. People have been asking the dates for this year which are Aug 27-30th. Also below, check out our Friday & Saturday bands, that are free & all ages are welcome. It's going to be a wild time! We can't wait!!!

We had tornadoes around this evening and the rain fell like cow pi***ng on the flat rock tonight, but the show must go on. The rides are up! There is nothing canceled for tomorrow. Maybe bring some boots but come to the fair tomorrow! It’ll be a great day!!

This display is a must see folks, in the newly dedicated Jerome A. Deal memorial building (round building)!! The volunteers at the Traverse County Historical Society and Museum did a magnificent job of showcasing some local history to the fair! I may be a bit biased - but we have the best museum in the area. It’s Jam Pack wall to wall of neat stuff. Bring the family and swing in sometime!
