Weston Carp Festival

The City of Weston Carp Fishing Tournament is coming up soon! Although we won’t be holding a festival this year due to the unfortunate end of the City of Weston AmeriCorps Program, we’re eager to keep this beloved tradition alive.

Save the date for June 6th at 8 PM, when we’ll kick off the fishing event on the West Fork! Participants will have the chance to win a West Virginia Lifetime Hunting and Fishing License. Be sure to join us for the final weigh-in and the announcement of the champion on Sunday, June 8th, at 4 PM.

Don’t forget to check out the registration form for all the tournament rules and guidelines—we can’t wait to see you there!

Join us this morning for a free pancake breakfast (8-10am) at the Museum of American Glass in West Virginia in downtown Weston. The breakfast is seeking donations towards the restoration of Old Hill Cemetery at the end of Main Street.

Once your belly is full, head next door to the Plant Swap and down the street for a full day of Carp Festival activities!

Weigh station closed for the night! No fish weighed in. The title is still out there to be snatched! We will be in downtown at 6am to see if anyone can snag the big one over night!!
