Sometimes, time doesn’t heal, and that’s apart of it too. 🪽
Too many moments without you already, too many memories you’re not here in the way we want you to be here for. I know you’re with us, each day, each moment, but some wounds don’t actually heal—we must learn how to tend to them, with care and kindness, because that hurt is from losing something you loved so dearly. A brother, a friend, a son, a husband.
For me—you laid the foundation of how to be a good human, how to be confident in myself, how to be responsible and show up. And so much more. I miss being goofy with you, I miss walking the docks wherever we were and drooling over boats we’ll never afford, I miss all the adventures. I miss the safety you gave me, giving me room to live my life fully. A million small things, and all the big things to. I wouldn’t be who I am with out having had you. A million times thank you. A million misses and a million hugs and smiles and laughs and cries—all to you.
Life can change in the shortest of moments. Breath through it—love through it, keep swimming, in the end, we’re all going to get there, so be here now, with gratitude for what you have.
Thank you for reading. We will see you this Sunday, to honor the memory of this amazing human we are blessed to have known, to have worked with, to have grown up with, to have done silly s**t with, to have loved and laughed with. 🫶🪽✨
