Well let's rip the bandaid off. At dinner last night we discussed plans and decided to end the Driftless River Run. I appreciate everyone who joined us or spread the word. It was a fun ride with great people. Whether helping a shop keeper or a broke down car, you all were there to lend a hand. I certainly now know the Driftless Region better than a Rand-McNally map. I just needed a break from the driving, mapping and parking planning and get back to some more free summer weekends for my projects. Thanks to all my volunteers and anyone who printed maps or spread the word. Also a shout out to all those who traveled long distances to join in. I am sure I will see many of you on the road in other cruises or car shows. Thanks for the Memories!

Who said rain has to dampen our spirits? Not you Drifters! We are humbled to know that 130-140 cars showed up plus those who jumped in even though rain was on the way. People who set up car events always dread rain. You folks truly made lemonade out of lemons and we had a blast!! The towns were very happy to see your rides and have posted thanks to you all. Also thanks goes out to Whiskey Row for keeping folks hydrated after the long drive! You all rock!! Take care everyone and we will see you down the road!

Always a last second adjustment to 250 turn by turn sheets 🤣.  OK cars will start arriving at 9 AM at the Walmart parking lot in Dodgeville. Drivers meeting will be at 9:45 AM so make your way over to the blue tent. We leave 10 o’clock sharp and will arrive for lunch in the Dells around noon. We will meet up to leave at 1:45 at the Home Depot in the Dells. The address will be on the papers for turn by turn. Please make sure you get a copy of the directions and a free sticker and thanks so much for attending! By the way, who’s traveling the farthest?
