Help!! When Christmas on the Common ended several hand knit sweaters, hats & mittens were accidently put in the wrong car. Please check & see if they ended up mixed into your things. The tree decorating contest at this year’s Christmas on the Common in Wentworth was a fun time as teams scrambled to decorate their miniature trees! The winner of the event was decided by people’s choice. This years winner…the Wentworth Elementary School! Congratulations and thank you to all who participated and who cheered them on! The decorated trees will be on display at the Grafton County Nursing throughout the holiday season.

A FUN NIGHT WAS HAD BY ALL!

We had a wonderful turnout for this year’s Christmas on the Common in Wentworth. So many people and so many activities for all to enjoy.

Tomorrow, Saturday November 29th, 2025 is the day! Gather on the Wentworth Common for our Annual Christmas on the common celebration! Remember to dress warm as it sounds like a chilly one!

FYI PARKING: There is limited parking around the common. Additional parking is available on Eastside Drive by the old town hall and the historical society. Kennebeck Lumber has also offered to allow folks to park in the lot at the mill. From those locations just walk across the Friendship Bridge (covered bridge) to the common.

Wentworth’s Christmas on the Common 2025 Highlight

At 5:00 pm at the gazebo there will be the reading of “the Night Before Christmas” and the lighting of the tree, followed by the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus! There are goodies for the kids and don’t forget get to take photos. It is always a great finish to a wonderful evening!

At 5:30 pm we will announce the winners of the tree decorating contest and all raffle winners will be announced.

Please consider attending this free, fun, family event on the common in Wentworth on Saturday November 29th 3-6 pm.
