Once again this year, the Alexandria Central School Sports Booster Club is offering some really cool raffle baskets so bring some money to take a chance to win one of these great baskets and support the local school sport boosters club. Tickets will be available for purchase at the Friday night 5K and at the races on Saturday. They will draw the winners on Saturday at 10am. ACS Sports Booster Club

We offering a packet pick up for the Thousand Island half marathon & 10K at the Thousand Island 5K on Friday night at the Thousand Island winery from 3:30pm - 7pm. We will start the 5K packet pick up at 3:30pm also. We will put a priority on the 5K packets to get the 5K runners at the start of the 5K race at 5:00pm. We will also have a late packet pick up from 8pm-9pm at the 1000 Island Hart house on Friday so people can pick up as many bibs as possible. We will need to streamline the packet pick up process on Saturday morning due to a tight schedule with the boat and start of the races. Please come with the QR code that is attached to your email confirmation.

If you ordered anything from the store, please be sure to mention it at the packet pick up to get it.

We have the Uncle Sam boat schedule for the Thousand Island races. We ask that the half marathon runners board the first boat over and the 10K runners use the 8:40am boat. We will be allowing a limited number of spectators to ride the boats & each additional person (not entered in a race) will be $8 round trip, cash or venmo the morning of the races.
The race times have been adjusted to 9:00am for the half marathon and 9:45am for the 10K. Willow Running Events

Free shuttle on Uncle Sam boat for 10K/Half Marathon!
The Thousand Island Half Marathon,10K & 5K is one our favorite destination events, so we put a tad more juice into this one.
This year (2024) we have added a fun shuttle on Saturday (May 18) morning from Alexandria Bay (Abay) to Wellesley Island ahead of both the TI Half Marathon & 10K. The shuttle will be free for all registered participants (non-participants will have to pay $8 if they want to shuttle over as well). And yes, there will be return shuttles 😉 back to Alexandria Bay.
We have teamed up with our friends from Southern Tier Brewing once again to offer a post-race Pub Crawl in Abay. Driving directly to the race site is still an option.
Both the Half Marathon & the 10K will start and finish at the Hart House on Wellesley Island. The 5K will be held Friday night (May 17) at the Thousand Islands Winery. Willow Running Events
Once again we are offering the TI Challenge that includes running the 5K on Friday evening and either the Half Marathon (Super Challenge) or the 10K (Challenge) on Saturday morning. Run and Fun is definitely the theme for this getaway weekend event or is it Fun and Run 🙃. We'll leave that up to you!
