The Fear Faire

The Fear Faire It is the Renaissance Faire for horror and music. We love a good time and are always lurking in corners to find it. Living for those holy *% #! moments.

The Fear Faire is a Friday the 13th Festival and Party featuring alternative rock concerts, an international film festival, horror attractions, and unique shopping experiences. We want to be scared in a fun way so we can laugh about how we jumped. We are the weirdos that watch horror movies to relieve stress.

This project started as an an immersive walk-through board game and became so much more!

With an animated story, original soundtrack, and escape room puzzles. Creating this world from scratch has been a dream!

Bringing our kids to Coachella was not the first choice, but through an act of God, our babysitters were no longer available for the weekend. So we made the best of the situation.

Luckily we had lots of support because we were at the festival with our whole family but the tips I would give parents that need to take kids and toddlers to their next music festival are these:

1. Safety equipment like ear protection and masks for dust/dirt are crucial. Luckily Ollie didn't fuss about keeping his earmuffs on but he did not like wearing the bandana.

2. We opted to leave the stroller/wagon behind and go all 3 days with just a child carrying backpack, which made navigating crowds much easier.

3. Security usually looks the other way when it comes to snacks in a diaper bag. There was no milk anywhere at the venue so on the last day we packed a full bottle too.

4. Take the festival at your own pace. Kids make the environment different but you can slow down and still appreciate everything from a little further back.

Honestly we still had so much fun and Lyla would've never forgiven us if we saw Huntrix live without her. 😂🖤

Went to Coachella for the rock n roll 🤘

We got to see everyone on our list except Turnstile! But we've seen them before and Katseye x Huntr/x was so worth it!

Saw Joyce Manor and Hot Mulligan for the first time which were highlights of the festival for sure.

Can't wait for all of the other rock bands over the weekend! Jack White and David Byren here we come 😍
