New Scam, Be Aware!

We have been receiving multiple calls about a scam where the caller claims to be Sgt. Garrison from the Indian River County Sheriff's Office. The scammer has been leaving a voicemail asking the victim to call them back to "rectify the situation". The callback number they provide is the main phone line to our Victim's Services Unit.

Always be aware and vigilant of possible scams. If you believe you are being scammed, call the Indian River County Sheriff's Office non-emergency phone line to report it.
