Come to Vergas and check out the shops and have a good time!
Info on Shops & Hops 2026:
I've had quite a few questions this week and thought I should clear a couple things up to avoid some confusion tomorrow.
It the past S&H has been done a couple of different ways. Previously, the breweries set up on Main Street, you paid for a mini mug, and you got to go around and sample. Due to the business climate of craft breweries, many of them no longer travel or do not have the staffing to do so, which is why we decided we needed to revamp the way we were running it this year.
Instead of on Main Street, there will be a paper with a list of businesses (this can be picked up at any of them, there is not a specific place), you will travel around and sample either a craft beer, seltzer, or rtd (ready to drink beverage aka cosmo in a can) at each one. Each one will also have snacks out for those participating. This portion will be very similar to the Wine Walk. Best part of the change: it's FREE this year!
Many of the businesses will be offering sales and discounts during this time, so be sure to check them out!
Afterwards the Front Fenders will be playing outside on Main Street. There will be pizza from Ditterich's, ribs from The Loons Nest, and a food truck from Sweet Tenderloin set up outside. (Billy's can do to go meals for you to sit outside with too as well as inside with AC ☺️) The VCC will have a beer garden set up and Proof will have a tent with their beverages for sale on Main Street during the music.
You must be 21+ to participate in the sampling, but the Front Fenders are open to all ages!
