2015 Youth World Fly Fishing Championship

2015 Youth World Fly Fishing Championship The 14th FIPS-Mouche World Youth Fly Fishing Championship will be hosted in Vail Colorado, August 10-16, 2015. Join us in welcoming the world to Colorado.

The America Cup is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes competitive, amateur fly fishing at the national and international levels and provides programmatic and monetary support to Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing. The America Cup, Inc is honored to be hosting the 14th annual FIPS Mouche World Youth Fly Fishing Championship, in Vail, CO.

Headquartering in a host hotel in Vail Village, the participants will be led down the cobble stone road through Vail for the opening flag ceremony and welcome speeches. Lodging will be provided in hotels along the gold medal waters of Gore Creek and daily meals will be provided by a variety of chefs and restaurants. The practice and competition venues will be the rivers and lakes of the Rocky Mountain high country. With elevations ranging from 7,000' to 10,000', the competitors will fish along the Colorado River, Blue River, Eagle River, Arkansas River, Sylvan Lake, Clear Creek Reservoir, Antero Reservoir, and Dillon Reservoir. All these venues will showcase the diversity of Colorado waters and the beauty of the United States.
