Excited to support Kinson Key Games on their Kickstarter launch day for Excursions! 10 AM Eastern!

MaricopaCon was honored to host multiple demo runs of this great new game at our event this year, and everyone had a blast! If you've played Galactic Cruise, you'll love it.

That's a wrap on MaricopaCon 13! Over 450 attendees, over 300 scheduled games, 6 game publisher demos & prototype tests, 3 raffles, and 16 play and win games!

We could not do what we do, without all of you. Thank you - for attending, for telling your friends, for volunteering, for staying at the resort (whether for convenience or a little staycation, it helps us!), and for supporting this amazing community event. We hope you had a great time, played fun games, and made new friends!

We will be sending our annual attendee survey within the next week, so PLEASE, watch your email inboxes & check your spam folders, and complete it as soon as possible. We value your opinions & feedback so highly, and it is crucial as we start work on next year's event. For those of you who already gave suggestions & feedback, thank you! We never want to think this weekend is as good as it can be; it can always improve and evolve, and that only happens with fresh eyes and creative ideas!

We love this community, and we are so grateful to each & every one of you. You make this event what it is ❤️

I am excited and blessed to be back with my gamer family this weekend, and already it is flying by as usual.
MaricopaCon is a family reunion with a game convention wrapped around it.
Each and every one of you is an integral part of MaricopaCon, whether this is your first time or thirteenth time.
You are its success, every smile you share with a stranger every hug you give might be just what someone needed in these challenging times.
I hope you get some much needed escapism and fun these next few days.
Seeing you all laughing and creating new friendships makes it all worth it.
Special Thanks to the Staff and volunteers over the last 13+ years, you are the rock on which I built this small dream.

2 fun updates regarding Food & Beverage at MaricopaCon 2025! 🍔🥪🍹

1) The Wigwam is offering a 10% discount on all food purchases, all weekend, at Wigwam Bar (the main food & beverage venue closest to the ballroom) with your MaricopaCon badge! 🥳

2) If you attended MaricopaCon 2024, you may have seen folks walking around carrying a delightful blue cocktail like the one in the picture. This drink is known as an AMF, an acronym we'll let you google😉 first ordered by one of our talented vendors, Janene Thorson of Stardust & Moonbeams, who had no idea what a trendsetter she was about to become. The Wigwam has agreed to make the AMF the Featured drink of the weekend, and they are stocked and ready for you! The AMF will be offered for $12.

(MaricopaCon reminds all attendees to indulge responsibly, and is not responsible for any alcohol consumption - The Wigwam holds the liquor license, and is the sole provider and regulator of any alcohol on the property. All attendees must be over 21 with valid ID to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. Never drink and drive.)

Answer:
No worries! The Wigwam offers an interactive, color-coded map to help you out! Click the link below to view. On the bottom right, above the key, you'll see the Wigwam Ballroom, that's our main gaming space. At registration, our volunteer staff will share locations for the RPG room, Artemis, Blood on the Clocktower, and other important destinations.

If you're staying at the resort, they'll also provide a map highlighting where your room is, and how to get around.

As a reminder, there is complimentary golf cart service across the property (we know, it's hot!) and the map denotes handicap-accessible parking.

📢📣🔊 WE STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS for MaricopaCon 2026!

We have not received ANY applications for our Paint & Take Miniatures section, and we can use more help at Registration during peak times (Friday at open & 5-7 pm, Saturday & Sunday mornings), and we can always use extra hands for setup & tear down (helping us load and unload dollies from the Uhaul).

We are run entirely by volunteers, and if we don't have enough volunteers to run, we can't host this amazing event for you all! Out of 400+ attendees, we only need maybe 25 people to step up for 1 shift each to make this happen. Teens are welcome to help, especially in Paint & Take!
