Flathead Valley Celtic Festival The Flathead Celtic Festival in beautiful Kalispell, Montana. Two day event the second weekend in September.

The Festival will be held on second weekend in September. It will include a Scottish heavy games competition which consists of the caber toss, sheaf toss, hammer throw, Braemar stone throw, and more. This region has an ample number of amateur and professional athletes that travel the area for these events and novices from the local community are always welcome to try out their prowess at these old

war games and compete with a great group of athletes. Other events at the Flathead Celtic Festival will include bag piping and a massed band at the opening ceremonies on Saturday, a music stage with both local and regional performers, dance exhibitions, workshops, clan tents for genealogical exploration, an education into the Celtic History of the Flathead Valley, and other entertainment, as well as retail, food, and commercial vendor booths.

Great program and great people. They help our community by bringing Irish history, language, and culture to our part of the world and Montana would not be the same without them. Follow the link below to make a public comment- today is the last day.

‼️🚨A moratorium has been placed on the Irish Studies Program at the University of Montana, placing the program in immediate jeopardy. Without swift action, its future is at serious risk.

With St. Patrick's Day coming up, we thought it'd be a good idea to remind everyone that we have a page on our website that outlines the upcoming local events hosted by businesses and organizations we partner with or support. We try to provide as much detail as we can muster so there's a bit of organization and we can support as many of them as possible, but we may need more- if you have some more info, let us know. Have fun out there and be safe!

A great write up of our partnership with The Conrad Mansion to host a Burns Night Supper. Hilary Matheson and Casey Kreider from the Daily Interlake did such a wonderful job of coverage and we’re so thankful. Sláinte!

Lads and lassies of the Flathead Valley turned out for an intimate evening of merriment, poetry, bagpiping, delicious food and whisky toasts for Burns Night at the Conrad Mansion on Jan. 24.
