If you are familiar with the The Wilshire Tar Pits (officially known as the La Brea Tar Pits) where a world-famous, naturally occurring asphalt seep located along Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile district of Los Angeles. They are the only actively excavated urban Ice Age fossil.
