There’s something incredibly tender about the morning of a wedding that doesn’t get talked about enough. Before the ceremony, before the music starts, before everyone takes their seats — there are a few quiet, chaotic, wonderful hours when it’s still just you and your girls.

The girls who knew you before the ring. Who have heard all the stories, watched you fall in love, stood beside you through every version of yourself that came before this one. And for one last morning, you’re all piled into the same room — touching up each other’s hair, passing around lipstick, sipping ch*****ne, laughing at things no one else would understand, and trying very hard not to cry when someone says, “You’re getting married today.”
