Christmas Carol Sing & Concert

We are 3 days from our 7th Christmas Carol Sing & Concert and it is shaping up to be a great one. Great songs, great singers, great musicians, and a great way to start off the Christmas season.

The weather looks good for Saturday so we hope to see you there.

JaDuke Center for the Performing Arts is right next to the Turners Airport, and just down the road from the Franklin County Tech School. They have easy parking and there are no stairs for those who have difficulty getting around.

We are excited to have some new talented singers and musicians with us this year for the concert. Two of those singers are Mark Hine and Steve Lynde. Some of you may remember them from back in the 1980's and 1990's. They along with Dennis Ainsworth and others ministered to churches and youth events as "Vessel of Truth" and later on as "Mission".

They will be singing 4 songs at the concert. "Sweet Little Jesus Boy" as arranged by Casting Crowns, "And On That Day" a beautiful song by Phil Keaggy, Steven Curtis Chapman's "Christmas is All in the Heart", and Philips, Craig and Dean's arrangement of "O Come, O Come Emmanuel".

I think you will love them. So be sure to put the date on your calendar and invite your friends to come.

Last night we got all set up at JaDuke Theater and are ready to go for tonight's concert. The theater is beautiful and cozy and the weather is sunny and clear, so we hope to see you tonight for a wonderful time of music and celebration!

The results are in. Many people voted for their 3 favorite carols and we will be counting down from the #10 carol to the #1 carol at the concert. There will be a lot of other music from a variety of singers and musicians so make sure Dec 7th is on your calendar.
