The 2026 Ice Racing Banquet was held on 3/21/2026. We feasted on Pork chops, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, and ice cream. We laughed, heard stories, and enjoyed getting together as a group to talk about and discuss the sport we have all come to enjoy and love. Thanks to all who were able to attend.

CONGRATULATIONS to all the Winners in each category.

It’s Awards Banquet time!
Here are the details:

When: Saturday, March 21st
Where: Sverdrup Church, Underwood, MN
Time: 11:00am Social Hour (Bragging Time)
12:00 noon Dinner
Awards and door prize drawing following dinner.

The Menu:
Pork chops, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans. and other fixings.

Cost: Adults: $10.00 (13 and older)
Kids: $5.00 (5 to 12) Kids: Under 5 Free.
For those Racers that paid for the FULL season, you will have one free meal. Those that paid on a weekly basis will pay the regular price.

We will need to get a headcount soon, so please reach out to Heather ([email protected]) or Lori ([email protected]) with the number attending.

Sadly, the 2026 Underwood Ice Racing Season has come to a close. Due to the numerous holes on the track, the increasing water, and the recent wind and rain, the decision has been made to end the year. We are now in the planning stages of the year-end awards banquet. Stay tuned for information on the date and time.

We want to thank everyone who made this season happen. We have been checking the track all day. We have found at least 4 holes in the track. 2 of the holes that are in very bad places.

Unfortunately, we will be canceling the races for tomorrow, 2/15/26.

Final decision to end the season will be made in the near future.
