This Christmas Day, we are filled with gratitude as we celebrate the spirit, creativity, and community that made this year’s Rose City Christmas Parade so special. We were honored to recently deliver certificates and award checks to our three award winners, and we loved getting to visit with each group and thank them in person.

🎄✨ We’re bringing a little extra magic to this year’s Rose City Christmas Parade! ✨🎄

Our 2025 parade theme is “Unite For Good,” and all entries will be evaluated by our guest judges from Lindale across three award categories:
🏆 The KLTV 7 Sweepstakes Award — Best in Show�
🎁 The Brooks Family Spirit of Christmas Award — Most Holiday Spirit�
🤝 The Stephanie & Dwain Morris Unite For Good Award — Most on Theme

Each category will have one winner, and every winner will receive a special prize package, including a 💵 cash prize! Keep an eye on our social media for details on prizes, judging criteria, and parade rules & regulations.

All parade entries must offer strong public entertainment value, follow the official rules set by the Rose City Christmas Parade and the Rotary Clubs of Tyler, and align with our theme, “Unite For Good.”

📅 Winners will be contacted beginning Monday, Dec. 8.�We’ll also post the results right here on Facebook—so don’t forget to snap a great photo of your parade entry for a chance to be featured! 📸

Rose City Christmas Parade & Drone Show Still On As Scheduled!

The Rose City Christmas Parade & Drone Show is scheduled to take place on Thursday, December 4, at 6:30 p.m. at CHRISTUS Rose Stadium. At this time, the event remains on as planned.

As stated in yesterday’s statement, the Rose City Christmas Executive Committee has been actively and continuously monitoring weather conditions in consultation with experts. Based on the most current forecasts, the Committee has determined that the weather expected this evening will not impact the safety or success of the event.

Should any changes become necessary, all participants and the public will be notified promptly through multiple official channels, including email, social media, and a formal press release.

This year’s parade theme is “Unite For Good,” and we look forward to coming together this evening in a spirit of unity and Christmas celebration.

Stadium Entry and Policies:

Entry to CHRISTUS Rose Stadium will be $1 or a nonperishable canned food item. All proceeds and food donations will support the East Texas Food Bank.

A clear bag policy will be enforced, and strollers are not allowed. Outside food and beverages are not allowed. Blankets and umbrellas are permitted.

Concessions and restrooms will also be available.

The Rose City Christmas Parade & Drone Show is TOMORROW!

We have a new location this year at the CHRISTUS Rose Stadium, which means a new route and new places to park. See the map below for the full route and our parking recommendations (while spots last!)

The best view of the parade and drone show will be from inside the stadium! Entry is $1.00 per adult or one non-perishable canned food item (kids under 12 enter for free). All donations from gate entry will be given to the East Texas Food Bank!

Street closures begin at 5:00 p.m. and stay closed through 8:30 p.m., so come early and come ready to enjoy some holiday cheer!

Rose City Christmas Parade & Drone Show – Weather Monitoring Update

The Rose City Christmas Parade & Drone Show is scheduled to take place Thursday, December 4, at 6:30 p.m., at CHRISTUS Rose Stadium, and at this time, the event remains on as planned.

We are aware of the current forecast indicating a possible chance of rain on parade day. The Executive Committee is actively and continuously monitoring weather conditions in consultation with meteorologists and safety experts. Rain alone is not enough to cancel the parade, however, weather conditions that may
affect safety, such as lightning, severe winds, or hazardous storms, will be closely evaluated. Safety for our participants, volunteers, spectators, and partners is our highest priority.

If weather conditions appear likely to affect the safety or successful ex*****on of the event, the Executive Committee will make a final decision regarding cancellation at or before noon on Thursday.

Should any changes be necessary, all participants and the public will be notified promptly through multiple
official channels, including email, social media, and a formal press release.

We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we work to ensure a safe and enjoyable
event for all.
