Hey all you AI students ! The 10 does are at day 20 today. They’ve been thrown in with the bucks but I have not seen any action yet. That’s good news. We will update everyone after 30-35 days when we get a chance to ultrasound them but fingers crossed. Again, thanks to Dr. D. Kyle O'Nan for his class and help in the workshop.

Day 2 of the ADGA Youth Convention program kicked off with learning how to level up your showmanship game, a panel discussion from college-age youth about scholarship opportunities, learning about dairy goat genetics, a hands on kidding activity, group project work with parasites and our skillathon contest, with a line dancing class thrown in. We ended the weekend with our Youth Awards Banquet and the selection of the 2023-24 Youth Rep Kenzie Burton and Alternate Youth Rep Stella Freuchtel-Dearing - congratulations !!

Day 1 of the ADGA Youth program was filled with learning about internal parasites, making commemorative shirts and ice cream, finding out what it takes to be a Youth Rep, practicing dairy goat knowledge with a quiz bowl contest and playing Kahoot, and a field trip to The Gathering Place. We have a record 56 youth participating this year!
