However, rather than dividing our lineup into typical genre blocks, we have taken a closer look at the humanity behind each story and chosen to draw thematic distinctions that guide the story of each film - ocean style! It wouldn’t be Riptide if we didn’t water-fy our programming.

Congratulations to all of the filmmakers whose remarkable films made it to our festival lineup this year! We can’t wait to screen your work the way it’s supposed to be screened. Real theatre, live audience, big screen.

For those filmmakers whose films could not be accommodated in this year’s screenings, we encourage you to keep writing, filming, and dreaming.

We wish we could showcase all the amazing work that was submitted but there is only so much screening time that is allowed to us for our slate of films!

At 6:30 PM all filmmakers who submitted will be notified of their film’s selection status.

Regardless of the result, we hope to see you at the 2026 Riptide Film Festival for a life-changing night of inspiration, celebration and connection with other visual artists.
