We have one more changing happening to our Art Jam moving forward.
All Art Jams moving are dedicated to Judy Mckinney to help preserve the safe an welcoming environment she cultivated.
Judy was a powerhouse in the local art community, She fought social norms and refused to allow her students to be silenced by the world around them. She was gentle, loving, and encouraging to those who were struggling to find themselves, and would show new perspectives to those who thought they knew themselves completely.
Judy was a woman of many talents, loves, and fixations; but most importantly she was a woman who saw a need in her community and provided the space for those needs to be met, regardless of the circumstances.

So here is to you Judy.

We have news to share of some sonar waves we have been making in the community, aside from the mural .

We heard a distress signal in our control room and scurried to see what the problem was!
Come to find out some of our little cadets at a local art school were having some issues at their own space stations.

We couldn't stand by and allow our most important crew members to be in distress! So we put our ears to the ground and sent out a wave of inquiry.
Thanks to JMC Movers (our neighbor) we were able to get BOTH WASHER ANNNDDD DRYER donated directly to Cosmic to then be donated to Harmony!

Now these cadets don't have to fret and the adults on their space station can release a little stress form their shoulders.

This is what Cosmic means when we say meet us at the Crossroads.
We want to know what is slipping through the fingers of the community so we can help make the connection.

Oh the hidden gems we did see, Explorers!
You'd think we were mining for diamonds!
From Crotchet to Herbalism we had a wide variety of wares to show the Ark-La-Tex, and boy was there a show to be seen!
Thank you to everyone who showed up, showed out!

🚨Space Station Update🚨
Are you ready to get Creative with the Cosmic Crew?
The amazing Rangers at GoodLuxe have expressed interest in our mission to providing a free, safe, and welcoming environment for our local art community!
They have opened their doors to our Crew and are excited to be apart of Art Jam!!
Starting MAY 30th every Art Jam will be located at Good Luxe (202 East Broad Street diagonal from our old docking station)
We have one more changing happening to our Art Jam moving forward.
As mentioned by our Navigator all Art Jams moving forward will be dedicated to Judy Mckinney to help preserve the safe an welcoming environment she cultivated.

From Baking to Poetry we tried to cover ALL the bases!
Artists, illustrators, musicians, and even fire performers. All of these astronomical rangers brought everything they had to help create an immersive and truly memorable experience.
