Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 4th, 2025 – it’s a full day of food, music, contests, and community fun at Wayfarer Appalachia & Back of the Dragon! Tazewell County Chamber of Commerce

Here’s what’s brewing:

12–5PM | Pre-Party @ Wayfarer
DJ, food, drinks, and good vibes on the street & patio.

11AM–7PM | Chili Cookoff
Bring your best recipe or just come to taste! Judging & prizes included. (Registration required – claim your spot!)

6PM | Co****le Tournament @ Back of the Dragon
Show off your tossing skills and compete for bragging rights.

10PM | The After Party @ Back of the Dragon
Karaoke, dancing, food & drinks ‘til late!

Oktobrewfest is fast approaching!
We’re excited to feature the region’s finest breweries, wineries, and cideries, plus popular food trucks and Main Street’s exceptional dining options. We have an amazing line up of bands as well--The Chain, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, and our own Steele Cookin'.

Wayfarer is having a pre-party 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm and Back of the Dragon an after-party 10:00 pm - 12:00 am

Early Registration available. Save $10 on your unlimited sampling ticket by pre-purchasing here thru September 30th.
Early bird price is $30.00. $40.00 after September 30th.
Take advantage of the ticket and t-shirt bundle thru September 30th for $55. The regular price is $30 for the t-shirt and $40 for the ticket ($70), a savings of $15. Be sure and include your t-shirt size. Pick up your bundle at the gate the day of the festival.
