BADFLOWER HAS CANCELLED the rest of its 2026 tour and with that announcement, has withdrawn from the Taylor Summer Festival. Badflower was scheduled to be the featured band in the festival’s rock concert on Saturday, June 27 in Heritage Park.
All tickets already purchased for that concert, which includes Eva Under Fire, will be refunded. When the City signs another band to fill the vacancy created by Badflower’s departure, the ticket portal will reopen to sales.
We are expected to have another band scheduled soon. Eva Under Fire will remain a part of the June 27th offering, which is also fireworks night.
Badflower, a popular Los Angeles-bred and Nashville-based quartet made up of Josh Katz (lead singer/guitarist), Joey Morrow (lead guitar and back-up vocals), Alex Espiritu (bass) and Anthony Sonetti (drums), cancelled an earlier portion of its 2026 tour when Katz experienced health problems.
Nevertheless, the band subsequently confirmed that it would perform in Taylor this summer. But recently Katz again had more concerns over his singing voice. Although he initially planned to push through the tour, doctors advised him to stop performing for a lengthy period because the situation was worsening.
The City of Taylor apologies to our customers for any inconvenience.
