Good people of the land, prithee take heed:

If it be thy wish to partake in Tarborough Faire upon the six and twentieth day of September, know ye that workshops shall be held in our library upon the last Saturday of each month. The hour of gathering shall be from half past nine to half past noon. All are welcomed! Learn the art of garb design, character building, games of the day and much much more!

Food trucks, crafters, artisans, entertainers, and vendors of curious wares are invited to apply for the Tarborough Faire.

Hear ye, hear ye! Ye are hereby invited to attend the Tarborough Faire!

Join us on September 26, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Tarboro Town Common for a day of celebration, imagination, and old-world charm. The festivities will begin with a kick-off parade at 9 a.m.

Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress in costume. There will be live music and dancing, unique entertainment, special performances, handmade vendors, and plenty of food and drink to go around!

Follow along and stay tuned for more event details as they become available.

A faire is coming to downtown, and we’re looking for vendors, entertainers, and businesses who want to be part of the experience!

Join us at the information meeting to learn how you can participate, what the event will look like, and how the downtown quest will work.

If you’ve ever wanted to set up as a festival vendor, perform for the public, or bring more visitors into your business for the day, this is your chance to hear the details and get involved.
