Join me at lovely OmniHum Gallery for my next Textural Tapestry Weaving Workshop! You will create a beautiful 5” x 8” textural tapestry. This class introduces frame loom weaving techniques, encouraging exploration of texture, color, and a variety of materials. Students will learn the fundamental elements of weaving including how to set up a loom while encouraged to play and experiment.

Students will leave this workshop with a small weaving and 2 sizes of frame looms from Hello! Loom so you can continue your weaving practice anywhere.

Saturday, October 17 from 1-4. Class fee of $125 includes all supplies! Register through the link in my bio.

Envisioning a future with different energy alternatives… I wanted to share a little bit about RF( Radio Frequency) energy and OmniHum artist Sky David’s invention the Sky Heart.
Sky David is and artist, animator, veteran, inventor, and physical therapist… wow!
And he has uniquely put on the back of his original art, a device which can make use of the RF energy around us and turn it into a “Sky heart” that emulates the human heart field to create a sense of peace and connection in the rooms it is hanging in. Art is inherently healing but this takes it to the next level! 🌷✨

A glimpse into “Where Deities Reside” a collaboration between Laura Baum, Lama Gyurme, and Chandra Lal Tamang connects Traditional Buddhism with Contemporary Southwestern scapes.

Arriving in this place of swirling clouds and never ending blue sky ,our inner visions are free to dance amidst this vibrant place .We converge with the elements and they nurture us. This experience of interdependence is the foundation of this work . The spontaneity and freshness of Lama Gyurme Rabgye ‘s lines ,are full of responsiveness to Laura Baum’s everchanging “Po Mo”landscapes .It Is in this refreshing space that the dieties reside. They remind us of the sacredness of place.
Art that gives us space to change.
Art that helps us see the beauty of every moment .
This collaborative work with artists of the Divine began when Laura lived in Nepal.
With this new collaboration Lama Gyurme Rabgye and Laura Baum celebrate the freshness and space only New Mexico could add to these artifacts .
