Today’s rehearsal for the Community Fashion Show was eletricifying and pure magic — and just a sneak peek of what’s coming your way at the Festival of Light on October 4!

This isn’t your typical runway. It’s a celebration of Tacoma’s true spirit — people of all backgrounds, ages, styles, and vibes coming together. From kids to elders, from every walk of life, they’ll be walking the runway in stunning South Asian attire, bringing their individuality while reflecting shared values like kindness, joy, and mutual respect.

This is the beauty of our city — where diversity meets unity, and we celebrate what connects us all.
