Many thanks to the members of the Swanzey Firefighter’s Association for being partners with the Swanzey Preservation Society. Swanzey Firefighters provided the staffing to cook the delicious Chicken BBQ served at the Goldenrod Bluegrass festival. Thank you guys for your hard work and dedication!

Chicken barbecue at the Swanzey bluegrass festival the suns out come on down for some fun and good music

The day has arrived - in just 2 hours the music will kick off the 2nd annual Golenrod Bluegtass Festival I. Swanzey Center. We have a great day planned. Waiting for showers to pass now but hopeful. If the weather is worse than a passing storm we will move to the Grange Auditorium located in the Grange Hall on the second floor. We have e plenty of tent space outside and folks can sit under cover outside too. Remember to bring a lawn chair or two and maybe your rain gear.

The Goldenrod coffee shop will be serving coffee, and a variety of pies and other goodies. You may also broowse our new gift shop also on the first floor of the Grange Hall. You will be able to hear the music fine from the coffee shop.

Come enjoy a Fashion Chicken BBQ at 12:00 noon skillfully prepared by members of the Swanzey Firefighters Association, Enjoy a beer or wi e from Frogg Brewery and Ice Cream from Silver Springs Brewery. See you soon! Tickets are $40 at the gate wristbands required. For those unable to attend you can purchase a to go BBQ chicken. Dinner to go after 12:00 noon for

The Swanzey Preservation Society welcomes Swanzey’s own; Frogg Brewery to the 2nd annual Goldenrod Bluegrass Festival at the Grange Hall Grounds, located on Route 32 South on July 6, 2024. Enjoy Frogg’s own style of craft beer and wine while you enjoy the sounds of bluegrass. Don’t forget to also visit the Frogg Brewery in their new facility located at 580 Sawyers Crossing Road, Swanzey NH.

Just 1 day until Goldenrod Bluegrass. It is going to be a great event. Tickets go on sale for $ 40.00 and the gates open at 09:00 AM. Patrons will be entertained all day by an all-star bluegrass line up. 09:00 - 10:30 Mr. Bill. At 11:00AM The New Englanders take the stage until 12:30. The Splinters take over from 1:00PM until 2:30 PM followed by Southern Rail from 3:00PM - 4:30PM. If that’s not enough the host, Swanzey Preservation Society are offering the Goldenrod Coffee Shop and the Goldenrod Gift shop both located on the first floor of the grange hall. Enjoy pie and other bake goods with our coffee. Attendees can park at local school parking lots and the Swanzey town hall. Enter through the front entrance of the grange hall to purchase your tickets and make your way to the festival grounds located outside in back. In case of severe weather audiences will relocate to the auditorium located on the second floor of the grange hall. We are hopeful that we can remain outside. large tents have been set up to keep you dry or if it’s hot keep you cool. This year for the first time our partners from Frogg Brewing will offer their craft beer and wine from local vineyards, for sale. Silver Spring Scoops will also be on hand to offer their homemade ice cream and speciality drinks. The Swanzey Firefighter’s Association is returning with their delicious chicken bbq, available with each ticket purchased. Expect chicken baked beans and more to be ready by 12:00 noon and as long as it last. Take out chicken after 4:30 will also be available. Hot dogs and coffee and others treats are available at our concession stand located just outside the Grange Hall. Plan on a great day of music and fun and we’ll see you there!
