🌿👑 WELCOME YOUR 2026 SUTTON FARMERS MARKET QUEEN 👑🌿

We are proud to officially announce and welcome your 2026 Sutton Farmers Market Queen, Faith Hammerbeck ! 💚

Faith is a 1st grade teacher at Buckhannon Academy Elementary School, and she brings kindness, passion, and a true love for community to this role.

When asked what the Sutton Farmers Market means to her, Faith shared that it represents “community, connection, and tradition—it’s a place where neighbors become friends and local hard work is celebrated.” ❤️

She believes our community is one that shows up for one another—rain or shine, just like the farmers and families who make the market so special each week.
Faith also shared that if the market had a theme song, it would be “Chicken Fried” by Zac Brown Band—a perfect reflection of good food, great people, and small-town pride. 🎶

And if she were a market item? She says she’d be homemade baked goods—because they’re comforting, made with care, and bring people together… just like she strives to do every day. 🍪

Looking ahead, Faith hopes to introduce a “Kids Day at the Market,” encouraging children to learn about farming, try healthy foods, and connect with local growers. 🌱

✨ “I should be crowned because I am passionate about supporting our local farmers, strengthening our community, and representing Sutton with pride and positivity.” ✨

We are officially accepting applications for the Queen of the Sutton Farmers Market, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about local agriculture, small businesses, and community growth right here in West Virginia! 🌾
This is more than a title—it’s an opportunity to represent the heart of our community, support our farmers, and promote the importance of farmers markets across the state 💚
👑 What you’ll receive:
A crown, official Pink Heart Company sash, and a prize package from the WV Sweetheart Festival & Sutton Fall Festival
🌾 What you’ll do:
✔ Attend Opening Day (May 2) & Closing Day (October 3)
✔ Attend at least 3 additional market Saturdays
✔ Promote the Sutton Farmers Market across WV
