Vermont // Patagonia, Chile Welcome! We are Eduardo & Jess - co-owners and co-adventurers of Sóijen.

We started Sóijen as a way to celebrate our passion for the wind-swept peaks and icy fjords of southern Chilean Patagonia, our original home. Since moving to Vermont, our new playground in the Green Mountains has inspired us to continue creating outdoor-focused designs and gifts, to motivate fellow outdoor enthusiasts to get out and explore Patagonia, New England, and beyond. Our products are made

with recycled materials and partnerships with environmentally-conscious vendors. At least 1% of each purchase is donated to environmental non-profits and initiatives in Chile.

Wow Boston - you really came out last weekend at the Spring Market!! We are blown away by all the support for our little paper goods business and are so energized to get back in the studio and keep creating. 💛

And what was the bestseller of the weekend? True to spring vibes you all were loving our birdwatching pup print. 🐦 We actually sold out at the show, but have been busy restocking, and you can now find it in our online shop if you missed out.

We will be taking the next few weeks off from markets, and will be sharing our summer event schedule soon!

Super excited to be heading to Boston this weekend for the Markets for Makers Spring Market. 🌷 We'll be set up at the gorgeous space at the SoWa Power Station May 2-3, from 11AM to 5PM both days.

We will be bringing our brand new notepads, stickers, notebooks and other paper goods with us. Stop by and shop 90+ makers, enjoy delicious food, craft at a DIY station and more!

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to support at the Kingdom Maple Festival last weekend! We are always a little frazzled at our first market of the year as we remember how to put together our display, prepare for the elements (those wind gusts 😵‍💫), and all the other logistics of popping up at events. In the end it all came together - the vibes, the sun, the sweets - can't wait to do it again next year.

And what was the bestseller? Turns out you all loved this outhouse design in all shapes and forms. 😂 Here's a clip to show the inspiration - a true outhouse with a view in the Gaspé Peninsula in Quebec.

We will be back at it this Friday and Saturday 5-9PM at the festival in South Burlington - a nighttime event packed with artisans, food trucks, live music and more!

It's a little bittersweet because we just sold our Mitsubishi Delica 😭, which was the inspiration for this design (although it never looked this organized in real life 😆). So many memories captured in this illustration!

Happy 2026! We wanted to briefly come out of hibernation to say thank you SO much for your support this past year.

Each year, we donate at least 1% of our sales to organizations dedicated to conservation. For 2025, we partnered with - an organization working to protect rivers worldwide while empowering Indigenous youth in the US, Chile and beyond to become the next generation of environmental stewards. So grateful to be able to help them grow their impact, and couldn't have done it without your support. 💚

On a personal note - we are back in Chile at the moment and can't get enough of the waterfalls - sharing a peek of a few of our favorites!

After a very long flight and almost as long of a drive, we are back to one of our favorite areas of Chile. Actually 10 years ago now, when we visited this area, we ended up seeing a volcanic eruption. It was March 2015 and while we were staying at an off-grid cabin not too far away, the owners woke us up at 2AM to see lava spewing out of the peak in the distance! 🌋 This time is a little different and the mountain is looking more peaceful. Nice to see you again Volcan Villarrica.
