Its been 2 years since Steve had his massive stroke. He had a minor set back last July with having a small stroke. Steve continues to Dr. at the University for his kidneys. He no longer is in therapy but walks daily at the shop and home. He's been exercising as well and can kick my butt at sit ups! Having a good attitude is key and Steve's attitude towards his situation is something one should take heed in.

When we were first asked about having a benefit our answer was absolutely not. We realized we had to swallow our pride and that we were definitely in need of some help.
To our family, friends and many supporters:
You have truly touched our hearts with your love, friendship, offers of help, assistance and generous support you have showed these last few months and at the benefit held this past weekend. It was wonderful and it showed us clearly how joy can be found in our challenging situation. We are very lucky to live in our small town and we are extremely proud of our community.

The day is almost here!!

As many of you already know, in April Steve Meyer suffered a stroke. While he has improved greatly in these last several months, Steve is still not able to work or drive. Proceeds from tomorrow's golf tournament and live/silent auction will help Steve and his family cover therapy, medical, and other expenses as he continues to work hard to get better.

One way you can help is to share this post - he must find a new owner for his beloved vehicle. If you or someone you know is in need of a reliable truck, please consider this opportunity. The truck will be up for auction tomorrow night at Rod & Cals Pub & Grub.
