Due to the ongoing increase of cases within the State of Missouri and a decision by the University of Missouri's Club Sports division, we will not be able to run MLC for Fall 2020. The bid application will be closed. Potential Spring sanctioned event TBD. Stay healthy!

Good Morning Ultimate communities! It has been a rough 2020 year so far and there are still a lot of uncertainties moving forward. As far as MLC goes, we plan to move forward with the tournament (for now). With that said, please check out this year’s bid forms. Remember to fill out the correct division (Men or Women’s). If you have questions or concerns, please email Alexis Kerman at [email protected].

Remember, just because you fill the bid form out, does not mean you are accepted depending on how many teams apply.
Bid Form deadline is July 1 – September 13. We understand that things ended differently for teams but please fill the form out to the best of your ability. IF you have an A and B team competing, you must fill the form out for EACH team.

As far as our response to Covid-19, we will continue to monitor Boone County’s local health department guidelines as they are released, CDC and USAU decisions regarding large events. If we have to cancel the event, we will make that decision by October 1st! If we go ahead with both tournaments, please be aware that many changes will happen which will be reflected in team packets that are sent out.

With everything going on in the world we wanted to address a couple of things:
First and foremost we want to express that we support the movement that has been a long time coming. Our community is built on the acceptance of all people and our black team members, coaches, parents and supporters matter to us! It is our responsibility to educate ourselves and our community members on systemic racism and how this affects equity among us.
We hope everyone is staying safe out there and we want you to know that our tournament, the teams involved and leadership stand with those organizations who are working to break down the racial injustices in our world.

Secondly, we are continuing to monitor CDC and local county guidelines in regards to Covid-19. As of today, we still plan to run our tournaments this Fall and will continue to update you all.

ANNOUNCEMENT: This year's MLC tournament is going to look at little different in order to allow us to accept more women's teams with limited field space! We are excited to expand the tournament by finding a way to increase number of women's teams we can invite to Columbia, MO and can't wait for your company!

We understand that this is a big change from previous years so please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.

Thank you for all of the teams who and parents/friends/family who attended MLC 2019! Overall it was a success and we could not have asked for better weather.
If you did not have a chance to come to the tournament or did not get to stop by Breakmark's tent at tourney central, there's an online store at the bottom.
I've got discs at my house so if you are wanting a disc ($10 + shipping) I can mail you one!

The Brackets from Sunday have been updated with all of the information that was given to me. May have misread or misunderstood a score (or didn't ever get a score) so they may be updated if I get any other info in. Great job teams and thank you for coming to us. We hope you all had a great weekend and we look forward to next year.
