For those of you that missed the 1st PTF Podcast Friday, it was announced that the PTF Torch is going to be handed off to K.D. Stafford January 1, 2026. I (Greg Myers) turn 60 next month (August) and always said I wasn't going to be doing this stuff when I turn 60. So I guess I am going a bit longer than what I preached.
I am confident that K.D. will keep PTF around for another 20 years and also improve it at the same time with his knowledge of so many things such as social media, streaming, equipment inventing, military leadership background and so much more. Plus her already has some awesome new locations to host events at!
Don't worry, I am not going to fully retire from the paranormal. I am sure K.D. will think of a cool lifetime honorably title to give me! We will also be around to help out from behind the scenes and still will come to some events in the future, etc.
K.D. first became involved with PTF in 2016 and also made an honorary member that year. He then became a full member of PTF in 2019. So I know many of you have met him in person and/or have seen his face on paranormal shows such as Ghost of Morgan City, Ghost of Devils Perch, some episodes of Ghost Brothers and have seen some of his unique equipment he build and designed in other shows such as Portals to Hell, etc. K.D. is also known as the "Paranormal Mad Scientist", a nickname I gave him some time ago and has stuck with him!
You will also finally see some great PTF bling and merch including t shirts, ball caps, special editions and designs of equipment and so much more.
Also next year when K.D. takes the drivers seat, it will be the 20th anniversary year of PTF. So I am sure you will also see some great contest along with fan appreciation giveaways and much more in celebration of our 20th year! Also, THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us through these last 19 years and for attending our events to support historical preservation!
