Official Statement from The Spring Hope National Pumpkin Festival, Inc.
Spring Hope, NC — The Spring Hope National Pumpkin Festival is proud to announce that it is now officially governed and operated by The Spring Hope National Pumpkin Festival, Inc., a nonprofit corporation formed to ensure the continuation and long-term stability of this 53-year community tradition.
For many years, the festival has utilized a page originally created to share information and promote the annual event. While that page has historically been associated with the festival, it has never been owned or controlled by the festival’s governing body.
During the 2025 season, the newly formed Board of Directors and festival committee were granted limited access to that page by its original creator, allowing content creation and promotion for the October 2025 event. However, full administrative control was not transferred to the organization.
As the Board begins planning and promotion for the 2026 festival season, the organization currently has no access to that page. Despite efforts to contact the pages creator to discuss access and continuity moving forward, no response has been received.
To ensure uninterrupted communication with the public, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and the broader community, the Board of Directors has chosen to launch a new official page that will serve as the sole authorized social media platform of The Spring Hope National Pumpkin Festival, Inc. going forward.
The Board remains focused on continuity, success of the festival, and looks forward to building on the momentum of the 2025 event while continuing this long-standing tradition for future generations.
